Overview

Mazatapec is the “OG” of Psilocybin Mushrooms, and a psilocybe cubensis strain.

The Mazatec are an indigenous people from Oaxaca Mexico, they have a long and sacred history with this mushroom. For generations they used this sacred mushroom in ceremonial ritual connecting to nature and facilitating spiritual healing .

In 1955, Life magazine published an article titled ‘’seeking the magic mushroom,’’ this article had a profound impact on the counterculture and hippy movement in North America, and gave birth to the psychedelic revolution.

The ‘shroom typically has dark brown caramel caps with medium stems.
